As the temperature rises I am loving putting together simple looks for the workday.  I am a thousand years behind on the Pixie pant bandwagon and as soon as I tried them on I was hooked.  These khaki pants are the perfect staple piece.  Paired with a blouse, statement necklace and flats, this outfit is office appropriate and perfect for Spring.

I am so ready for spring and I have a great dressy casual look to wear around wants the temps bump a bit.  These wedges are beyond comfy and paired with my favorite light jacket, this will definitely be a go to for a sunny day.

Hues of Blues

Spring is here but with the temperatures lingering in the low 50’s it’s not quite time to grab the flip-flops and shorts just yet (though I did get a pedicure in this weekend so my toes are ‘open toe’ season ready!).

I grabbed one of my favorite puffer vests to get one last use before it is pushed to the back of the closet to make way for beach covers!

The work week after the holidays may feel like the longest 5 days in history.  But motivation is on an all year high all around us and you can’t help but soak it up.

Mixing a sweet and classic look with comfort has been my outfit mantra this winter.  I love finding a feminine look and adding comfort pieces to make these cooler winter days more manageable.

 

I could live in leggings and boots so they appear pretty often on most of my go-to looks.  Paired with this light skirt and dark striped top, these pieces go seamlessly together.

Valentine's Day looks

Happy Valentine's Day ladies!!

Date Night

I had one of those productive weekends where, at the end of Sunday, I felt pretty good about the upcoming week.

 

 

I was playing around with hair styles and even a little bit of dress up.  I had this outfit put together when Brandon and I decided a date night was in order (I mean, you can’t leave a girl all dressed up with nowhere to go).  I grabbed my purse and off to Mexican and margaritas we went! 

 

 

and I finally got to show off my new booties from the Lauren Conrad collection!  I am in love!

 

Fall Favorites

My grandmother's (aka- Nanie's) backyard was one of my favorite places to play when I was younger.  It was a steep hill that was perfect for sledding.  It also produced some of the biggest and best climbing trees around.

Thanksgiving day in Pennsylvania this year was beyond amazing (besides the freezing temps) and nanie's yard made for a perfect backdrop to show off my favorite fall look!

Shopping comfort!

Comfort is key when it comes to shopping! 

 

When I was up in Alexandria for girl's weekend we took a stroll through Old Town to check all the fabulous stores those streets hold!  We checked out everything from tea shops to toy stores, and all the clothing shops you can dream of. 

 

On top of an amazing Sunday with the girls, I was excited to get to pull out this warm vest for our little shopping spree!
